The series was launched in 1990 and is dedicated to one of the endemic animal species found in Australia. Thanks to this collection, the lovable Kookaburras are known practically all over the world, as the coin is extremely popular with investors and collectors alike.
The reverse of the latest edition of the bullion coin depicts a Kookaburra sitting on a tree branch. Below it are the year of issue, weight and silver proof.
