Description
The Australian Perth Mint mints since September 2019 the coins of the Lunar III series with annually changing motifs. The Lunar III series is the successor to the highly successful Lunar I series in fine silver (1996-2007) and Lunar II series (2008-2019). The series is based on the 12 signs of the zodiac of the Chinese lunar calendar. The Lunar III series in fine silver started in 2019.
The portrait of King Charles III. is depicted on the value side. The motif changes annually, the complete series runs for 12 years – corresponding to the 12 signs of the zodiac.
