The Obverse
The reverse of the coin showcases an artistically crafted snake, coiled on the ground beneath hanging leaves. This design captures the essence of the snake as a stealthy yet powerful creature. The coin is finished with the Chinese character for “Snake,” the inscription “SNAKE 2025,” and the Perth Mint’s iconic “P” mintmark. A special feature is the micro-engraving, a security element integrated into the design, only visible under magnification, making counterfeiting significantly more difficult.
The Reverse
For the first time in Lunar series history, the obverse of the coin features the portrait of King Charles III, designed by Dan Thorne.
