Description

Monopoly
The original board game was called The Landlord’s Game and was invented in 1903 by Lizzie Magie. In 1932, Mr. Charles Todd designed his own version, in which he added the idea of collecting sets of properties and began distributing it under the name Monopoly. Parker Brother’s released the version of the game in January 1935, and it became an instant hit with the public. In 1991, Hasbro acquired Parker Bros. and the game Monopoly.
