The Design

The obverse features Jesus, the series motif, as a Teacher. He has a frontal depiction, with one hand raised as he is tutoring his pupils. At the same time, he holds a book with the corresponding Greek letters Alpha and Omega engraved, referring to Jesus and God in the Book of Revelations.

The reverse has the Coat of Arms of Samoa centralized, surrounded by inscriptions. On top, read “SAMOA” and “2023.”

The coin’s face value, “2 TALA,” is on the bottom.

And the coin’s information regarding weight, metal content, and purity flank the seal through: “1 TROY OUNCE” and “999 FINE SILVER.”

Because it is a proof-like coin, it exhibits a shiny brightness, which enriches its appearance.
