Description
Zeus’ thunderbolt is the legendary weapon of the Greek god of the sky, lightning and storms. It was considered a symbol of divine power and wrath, with which Zeus punished mortals and gods who broke divine laws. According to mythology, the thunderbolt was created by the Cyclopes as a gift to Zeus when he helped bring down the Titans. Powerful and inescapable, Zeus’ thunderbolt was also a sign of justice administered by the god from Olympus. Its brilliance and rumble evoked fear and awe in people, reminding them of the divine power.
The sword was made of 2 ounces of pure .999 sterling silver, which made it possible to create a numismatic of considerable size with a length of 18 cm and almost 5 wide. The weapon was made as a symmetrical piece, having a gilt-embellished spearhead. The coin is delivered in an elegant parade box with an accompanying manufacturer’s certificate.
